After graduating high school with honors, I started attending the University of North Georgia. I am working on receiving a dual bachelor's degree in both pre-med and chemistry. Once I receive that, I plan to go to the University of Augusta in order to obtain a degree in dentistry.I began tutoring through my church with the students that needed help with their AP and honors chemistry. I have also led some study groups that consisted of my fellow classmates who needed assistance with their physics and chemistry courses.When tutoring, I make sure that I am adapting my teaching techniques so that the student's individual needs are met. I try to create an engaging and friendly atmosphere for my students. This helps to make sure that they are not afraid to ask a lot of questions, which will help them to create a true interest in the material.I have found that I do best in mathematical and science subjects. Therefore, I am able to help tutor students in math subjects ranging from basic math to algebra 2. As far as science goes, I enjoy physical science, chemistry, honors chemistry, and AP physics 1 and 2.In my spare time, I enjoy video games, music, and staying in shape. Some of my favorite television shows include Dexter, Cosmos, Arrow, The Office, and Parks and Recreation.
